Hello I am Ram from Nigeria basically from Chennai. Recently got into Keyboard Playing got Yamaha PSR S650 and this site has been very useful. I have a small question. I learnt Harmonium and not Keyboard. I have always been playing C# First Black as my SA. I don't know how to use Western notes. Can you help me how do i transpose. I knew the technical stuff on my keyboard.

Like If a song is composed on C scale what transpose number I should adjust so that i can play using first black as my Sa.

Same as if a song is composed D# what should be the transpose number so i can play from First black.

You should select transpose = 1 (1 semitone )
