    Please find attached legends of Carnatic and Western. You can easily convert the western notes to carnatic with the legends.

    wow.. This is really useful. For convenience, I am attaching the same thing (what chandranji has posted already) as inline. so that we refer it easily. Notably, these images could be used as a referring point to determine which all are the keys applicable while converting carnatic notations to western and vice verse.
