Hi, new here. I try to play the flute (the 8-hole bamboo), and I like to fool around with a guitar (I treat it more like a south Indian instrument, I haven't yet wrapped my head around chords). I learnt flute for a short while, and since then I'm more or less self-taught. I have no formal training with the guitar.

I spend my free time listening to songs and trying to play it on my own, trying to get the notes down on paper. I've managed to figure out a few, but probably not as accurately as you guys here. Looking forward to having some fun.

P.S. Can someone tell me how to open threads on the other sections of the Forum? Only this one had the Post a New thread option.

there shouldn't be any issue sin creating new threads in the forums, as long as you are a registered (confirm via email) member.

can you share a screenshot? which browser are you using? Are us accessing the forums from mobile or desktop computer?
